Lady's Mantle has been used in folk medicine historically to address a wide variety of female issues like toning abdominal tissue following childbirth and restoring breast tissue after lactation. It has also been used traditionally for menstrual irregularities, due to its rich tannins which help to curb menstrual flow and its high salicin content which helps alleviate menstrual pain.

Red Raspberry Leaves contain fragrine, which is an alkaloid which gives tone to the uterus and other muscles in the pelvic area. It also helps to strengthen the endocrine system and balance hormones and restore irregular menstrual cycles.

Angelica Root has a long history of use as a carminative herb for soothing digestive complaints and gastric imbalances. Just as it soothes the digestive area, it also eases pelvic stagnation, supporting the uterus where there is excessive bleeding, cramping and even ovarian cysts.

Lemon Balm is a calming herb, and adds a wonderful taste to this tea in combination with the other herbs.
